Pack (better than me) for 15 days in the AWAY Bigger Carry-On
You can do it - I believe in you.
Packing in a carry-on suitcase for a 2 week trip may sound daunting, but I promise you can do it - especially in the summer months. If you’re going to Europe in the winter, this can be a little trickier, but full-time travelers live out of this little powerhouse, so it can be done!
You can watch the packing video here, and if you’re curious about how the trip went, I also have a recap video. Below I’ve outlined what I would have done differently while packing for this trip, now that I have the benefit of hindsight.
Packing Regrets
In this video I packed for a 15 day trip to Croatia and Greece in July, which, by the way, is really freaking hot.
Jeans - Didn’t wear them once
Turtle Pillow - This was bulky and didn’t perform as well as I wanted it to.
Little leather backpack - I opted for my smaller crossbody purse the entire trip.
Denim Jacket - Did I mention it was REALLY hot?
Multiple pullovers/sweatshirts - One for the plane would have been enough.
Things I Wish I Would Have Packed
Pack towel - great for trips by the water
Water Bottle - especially one with a filter!
Detergent - If you plan to rewear things, add detergent so that you can wash and line dry your clothes in your hotel or AirBnB.
Dry bag - We did a LOT on the water, so this isn’t a necessity for every trip, but it definitely was for this one. If you plan to spend time near water - add this to your list. You won’t regret it.
More breezy dresses - I packed one and wish I would have had fewer shorts outfits & more dresses.
