January Favorites

I waffle back and forth between what my favorite videos are to film, but favorites videos are definitely UP THERE! It’s fun to just sit down and chat with friends about a bunch of really great products enhancing my life each month. Cheers to a new year and new great finds!

  • Coffee Dripper: If you don’t want to dive head first into the scientific version of the pour over coffee method - start here! You’ll need filters, coffee, and a grinder to go with it!

  • BlueBottle Discovery Kit: If you are ready to dive headfirst, this is the best starter kit out there. It gives you everything you need to get started (aside from a gooseneck kettle), and it ensures you get a great cup of coffee every time!

  • Fellow Electric Kettle: Remember that gooseneck kettle I was just talking about? This one is top of the line, but I personally thing the investment is worth it!

  • Food Scale: This ensures you’ve achieved the right water to coffee ratio with every cup! Plus, this is handy for weighing other foods and mail if you plant to use stamps.com or something.

  • The Minimalist Skincare Set: This set was my gateway to Youth to the People products. It’s really well priced and allows you to try some of their most popular products. The cleanser, the Vitamin C + Caffeine Serum, and one of their moisturizers.

  • Head and Shoulders Shampoo & Conditioner: I’m not afraid to admit I have a flaky scalp. Some people are more prone to it than others, which is why you need to seek out the right shampoo + conditioner combo to make it a non-issue. This set smells fantastic and is super effective!

  • Skylar Pink Canyon Perfume: This scent surprised me! It’s not super punchy, but if you’re looking for a fresh scent with woodsy undertones, this one is for you. I typically like perfumes that are bright and bubbly, and this is like a mature older sister to those scents.

  • Skylar Discovery Set: Buying perfume online is hard! If you’re risk averse like me, start with this little sampler. You can smell several of their scents, decide which you like best, then commit to a full sized scent. Worth it!

  • Pura Smart Diffuser: We had to give up diffusing essential oils once we got Nash boy, because there’s a laundry list of harmful scents for pets. This completely solved our issue! The Pura is a smart diffuser that fills your house with popular scents on a personalized schedule at a specified intensity. The future is now, people. *You get $12 off your order of $50 or more using this link, and I get $12 in Pura credit!

  • The Defined Dish Cookbook #1: I droned on and on about this cookbook for a solid year. If you’re looking to clean up your diet and still eat delish weeknight dinners - check it out!

  • The Defined Dish Comfortable Kitchen Cookbook #2: I personally think she outdid herself with this one. She is showing her RANGE, and I’m here for it with the appetizer, desserts, and cocktail chapters. Can’t recommend enough!

  • TS3 Plus Dock: If you’re a content creator of any sort, this thing is powerful. It allows me to charge my computer, read from multiple external drives, grad video from my memory card, and work with a second monitor all at once. Bryan also did an intense amount of research to ensure it was “future proof” and will be compatible with most everything I’d need it to read for years to come.

  • Adjustable Dumbbells: This year my fitness goal is just variety. These adjustable dumbbells have made the strength workouts on Peloton so much more effective! We’ve been loving them!

  • Caraway Cookware Set: The pieces of this set are equal parts gorgeous and insanely high quality. These are very non-stick, non-toxic, can go on your stove top or in your oven, and come with great organizers for the pots, pans, and lids. So smart. It comes with a Saute Pan, a Fry Pan, a Sauce Pan, and a mid-sized Dutch Oven.

  • Always Pan: We still love it and use it often! It’s in wonderful shape after over a year of extreme use, and it’s a totally different size pan than any offered in the Caraway set. If you were looking to buy one pan, I think the Saute pan from Caraway edges this one out a bit because it can go in the oven.
