Gift Guide for Him

Most of these gifts are based on my husband’s favorite products that he uses or wears constantly, so I can confidently say this guide has been vetted by my favorite guy in my life :)

Bags & Organization

This duffle is incredibly organized and has an insane about of capacity. If you pack it to the brim for a week long trip, there are backpack straps that make it easy to carry and snap in separations on the inside to keep you organized. (We’ve packed both our things for a weekend trip in this with room to spare!)

Bryan and I both own this backpack (mine in sage and his in black), and it also has customizable organizational features just like the duffle above. I love that it has a water bottle holder and a zippered pocket on the side for easy access to things you may need to grab mid hike or flight. It even has a separate laptop compartment, making it a great option for long commutes to work.

Super useful for the frequent traveler or the everyday commuter. This provides both elastic storage areas of varying sizes and a zippered section for tiny loose items.

Bryan lives with basketball shoes and crazy car equipment that takes up most of his trunk. If you know someone with a similar “organization” style, consider this collapsible car organizer that you could put to use both inside and outside the car.

Clothing & Accessories

Bryan has several different pair of similar shoes that he wears nonstop. These are super practical and will likely match everything in his closet. Feeling more adventurous? They have more colors!

Bryan’s most worn hoodie! It’s on the thinner side which makes it comfy indoors when the heat is on and easy to layer under a bomber or leather jacket. You can’t go wrong with black, but they have beautiful oatmeal, green, and blue options too.

This beanie style is super classic and comes in 20+ colors. We have 3 in our house that we love, and they’ve held up really well. Wrap this up and put it under the tree or roll it up and place it in a stocking!

This is a perfect heavyweight layer in a climate that doesn’t often call for a parka. A hoodie or sweater easily fits under this jacket when ordered true to size, and the light heather goes with all pant colors.

For the dog lover on your list who is very proud of their pup. This toes the line of a “personalized” gift without the limited return policies since it doesn’t have their specific name or initials. It’s a classic, adjustable cap.

Originally I had a pair of super soft, albeit thin, pajama pants featured here. My husband did a onceover of this guide before I published, and he said, “Those just look like underwear turned into pants — too thin.” He recommended replacing those with a classic pair of pajama pants that is both thicker and warmer. This is a pair that he owns and loves!

The price and quality of this shirt are both outstanding. Bryan owns 4-5 colors in both the long and short sleeved versions of these heavyweight cotton t shirts. They’re “worn-in” yet structured at the same time, and Bryan wears these every single week. Cannot recommend these enough for a practical person in your life!

Gadgets & Home

For the avid griller in your life, this meat thermometer would be a huge upgrade from the classic stainless steel version. Unlike typical thermometers, you cook with this one inside the meat the entire time. It allows you to monitor meat temperatures in real time via an app on your phone — pretty cool!

We use this portable bonfire all the time, and we’re constantly impressed at how easy it is to use, clean, and move. It has a rim at the top of the stove that helps prevent smoke from constantly being in your face, which I personally love the most about this gadget. We recently bought the Surround that provides you a place to set your drinks and keeps kids and pets safe by covering the super hot sides. (The Surround will ship after Christmas, but in our family, opening a picture of future gift is just as exciting!)

To get coffee shop quality coffee at home, I can’t recommend the pour over method enough. All you need is a dripper, scale, and kettle, and this particular kettle is the best of the best. It automatically heats your water to an exact temperature and keeps it hot until you’re finished pouring. We use this at least twice a day — once for our morning coffee and once for afternoon tea.

If someone you love prefers cold coffee, this is the simplest cold brew maker we’ve tried! It has such a small footprint and very easy instructions to follow. You make the cold brew in the same carafe you use to store and pour it, which makes clean up easy too. Consider the gift set that comes with brewing instructions and a bag of coffee!

If your brother, friend, boyfriend, or husband is still decorating walls with flags from their college, consider checking out this shop that sells mid-century modern style posters of sports teams, cocktails, tv shows, music, movies, and more. It’s an elevated way for them to display the things they love and would be a great way to show that you know what they love!

These were super hot several years ago, but this little console is still a hit at our house. We love diving back into old video games from our 90s childhood and have spent more than a few nights playing Mario Party with our best friends. Bonus: It’s easy to travel with! (Remember Sega? It’s kind of that size.)
